Rebecca Reid

Instruments: Voice, Piano

Georgia native Rebecca Reid started singing and playing piano at a young age and developed a love for music both on and off the stage.

While earning her bachelor’s degree in music from the University of West Georgia (UWG), Rebecca performed with the UWG Choir, UWG Jazz Band, and various gigs with “Shades of Red”, a trio she co-founded. She sang at St. Oliver’s Catholic Church as part of the Life Teen Band, and is currently cantoring with the band at St. Jude Catholic Church for the Life Teen contemporary service. 

Rebecca has worked behind the scenes as a stage manager, event production manager, and booking agent for Driven Entertainment Group. She also worked as a production assistant for “The Voice.”

Rebecca loves teaching and performing music from a variety of genres. Her favorites include classical, contemporary, musical theater, and jazz works.

Music has had an amazing impact on Rebecca’s life. She is grateful for the opportunity to nurture a love for music in her students at Sandy Springs Music!
