Rock Music + Teamwork = Rock Band!

Private lessons are one thing, but when you join a rock band you become part of a team that relies on 21st century skills like communication and collaboration to create music. Our rock band class provides a unique way to strengthen skills, build confidence, and develop friendships.

The rock band program is open to guitarists, piano players, vocalists, bassists, drummers, and saxophone players ages 10 – adults (separated by age group) who have reached the advanced beginner/intermediate level or higher. Groups of 4-6 students meet with a rock band teacher each week to practice and learn how to play as a band.

In addition to playing at our recitals, our rock bands perform at local venues and festivals all over Atlanta.

Mondays
4:00-4:50pm – 10-11 year olds
5:00-5:50pm – 12-13 year olds
6:00-6:50pm – 14-15 year olds
7:00-7:50pm – 16-18 year olds

Tuesdays
4:00-4:50pm – 10-11 year olds
5:00-5:50pm – 12-13 year olds
6:00-6:50pm – 14-15 year olds
7:00-7:50pm – 16-18 year olds

Wednesdays
6:30-7:20pm – 12-14 year olds

Thursdays
7:00-7:50pm – Adult Rock Band

  • $185/month/student: Student is taking private lessons at SSM in addition to Rock Band
  • $210/month/student: Student is not taking private lessons at SSM in addition to Rock Band

Pricing Information

Sandy Springs Music (SSM) provides weekly Rock Band classes. We process payments for Rock Band monthly as follows:

  • $185/month/student: Student is taking private lessons at SSM in addition to Rock Band
  • $210/month/student: Student is not taking private lessons at SSM in addition to Rock Band
