So much fun practice feels like play!

Our drum students will tell you themselves how important the fundamentals are to their drumming success. They understand that the way you sit, hold the sticks, and strike the drums all impact the sound the drums produce.

Beginners learn how to read music and play basic drum beats on day one. Lessons progress to include medium full stroke rolls, rebounding double strokes, and singles to doubles exercises. More advanced drummers love to participate in our rock band program!

Drumming students receive personalized practice routines to sharpen their skills between lessons. They know it takes repetition and patience to rock out like Ringo and Rush!

All three of our kids have taken music lessons at Sandy Springs Music. Scheduling is very flexible and they offer a wide variety of instruments to learn. Our kids have taken piano, voice, flute, ukulele, and drums. The instructors make the lessons fun and productive. We also like how the winter/spring recitals provide simple and low-stress opportunities to perform and show what they've learned.
